AI Log

Purpose

Log a Claude Code session with goals, outcomes, and files changed. Creates a structured log entry and links it in today's daily note.

How to Use

Invoke with /ai-log at the end of a Claude Code session.

Instructions

1. Create a log in 210 AI Log/ with format YYYYMMDDTHHmm <Short Description>.md
   • Short description: 2-5 words summarizing the main work done
   • Example: 20251221T1430 Integrate rocketmoney vault.md
2. Add a link to the log in today's daily note under # Work Notes

Log Entry Content

Based on the conversation, extract:

• Goal: What the user asked for / intended outcome
• Outcome: What was actually accomplished
• Key Decisions: Important choices made during the session
• Files Changed: List of files created, modified, or deleted
• Notes: Any relevant context, gotchas, or follow-ups
