Setting up Rapid Logging for Obsidian on iOS and MacOS

I setup Rapid Logging for my Mac and iPhone using iOS Shortcuts and Obsidian.

The goal of this post is to write the technical documentation for my process.

If you're unfamiliar with rapid logging, go read my post on rapid logging, the problem it solves and why it's a great solution.


Open Raycast and in the command palette, type "QuickLinks". If you don't already have it installed, you can type "Store" hit enter and type "QuickLinks". Hit enter to select "QuickLinks" and enter again to "Install Quicklinks".

Once it's installed, in Raycast, type "Create Quicklink". This will give you a panel that has name (which we'll type "Rapid Logging".

The link will be obsidian://advanced-uri?vault=vault&commandname=QuickAdd%3A%20Rapid%20Log​
